This is my new toy. Its a 1982 Honda VF750 Sabre. It is fitted with a quad carburetor, quad cam water cooled engine. It is shaft drive and apparently goes really well for an 80's model bike. The problem is it hasn't run for the past ten years since it has been dropped. The engine did run before the accident however since then hasn't been run. The first line of business after getting the bike home was to clean up the carburetors and inspect all the components. The following needs to be done:

- Brake master cylinder overhaul
- Front caliper overhaul
- Front tyre
- Choke cable
- Instrument cluster
- Headlamp
- Blinker lamps
- Tail lamp
- Choke cable replacement
- Re weld the exhaust system together again
- Battery replacement
- Service engine oil / filter
- Spark Plugs
- Air cleaner

As you can see my work is cut out for me. Though it is no where as bad as my last restoration which required a full engine rebuild as well as everything being seized. This one actually still turns over and the electrical system is still in good working order. I am really looking forward to riding this sucker. It should be allot of fun to ride. I will post pictures as the restoration manifests.

The last thing I have done to it so far is to clean out the carburettors. The were filled with an incredible amount of crap. Only one carby was flowing a little bit of fuel as the pictures illustrate.
