Our club is open to ALL models of Chevrolet compliance plated vehicles, we
have members with cars from the 1920’s through to the current year.
The Chevrolet Club of NSW, established in 1975, is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of ALL Chevrolets.
We aim to foster and develop friendship and fellowship between all Chevrolet enthusiasts, while contributing to and being an active part of the American car and restored vehicle scene. We are aligned with the CMC (Council of Motor Clubs), and the Australian National Street Machine Association for the continued development of our hobby. For these reasons and more, membership is open to owner and enthusiast alike.
We liaise with other clubs and run combined events. We promote and attend special events such as The National Chevrolet Festival (held in a different location each year), Motorex, All American Day, All Chevy Sunday, GM day and many others. Members are also provided with information on upcoming car shows, events of historic significance, motorsport and general gatherings.
Each year we have a Xmas party with gifts given to member children with money obtained from club raffles throughout the year at our regular meetings.
We cater to all tastes in Chevrolets from the oldest to the youngest. Over the years we have helped members with Technical and/or automotive information to assist them with maintenance or restoration issues.
The club has built a library of Chevrolet books and manuals (totalling over 300 items) available for loan to members. A range of club apparel and merchandise is available for members to purchase. This includes Club shirts, jackets, mugs, buckles, badges, caps etc. Other membership benefits include: Historic registration for standard vehicles, discounts for insurance.
