The NSW Gemini Club first started back in 1982 and soon became one
of the biggest car clubs in Australia. Even after the last Gemini rolled
off the production line, the club continued to grow in membership numbers
and at one stage had a membership of around 250. While the club today may
not be as big as it once was, we can honestly say that our members are true
die hard fans of the Gemini. In 1999 the NSW Gemini Club moved it's operations
to Newcastle after it was decided to close the club down.
In November 2000 the club attended the Small Car Sunday,
where the club received a large response from people wanting to join, this
led to the fact that a club presence was needed back in Sydney. In January
2001 the Sydney branch of the NSW Gemini Club was reopened.
The NSW Gemini Club continues to grow in membership
numbers thanks to the club's exposure in the August 2001 edition of Hot
4's magazine and our club listing on the HotGemini.com website.
