Here is a trip back in time viewers, a very rare car to say the
least and a moment in history. It is the first production vehicle mazda ever
built. Here are some of the specifications:
Mazda, R360 Coupe, This model which was released in 1960 was Mazda's first
production passenger vehicle.
Engine - Rear mounted, V twin, four stroke, hemispherical
combustion chambers, Push rod overhead valves, air cooled, 360cc engine capacity,
dry sump lubrication system.
Maximum Power - 12KW @ 5300 rpm
Maximum Torque - 22NM @ 4000rpm
Transmission - 4 speed Transaxle, final drive ratio 6.33:1
Body size - Length - 2980mm, width 1290mm, height 1990mm, wheelbase 1760mm,
weight 430kg, fuel capacity 16litres.
Suspension - All independent, trailing arms, with rubber in torsion spring units. Telescopic shock absorbers.
Steering - Rack and pinion steering system with 7.7m turning circle, 2.5 turns lock to lock.
Performance - Top speed of 90KM/PH @ 6000 rpm
