My 1963 British Army Personnel Carrier
I was at the Auto Salon show last week and this man walked up to me and
introduced himself as George the Showoffyourwheels Promotions manager,
Well after speaking to him for about 5 minutes he asked me if I would be
interested in posting my Army tank on his web site and to be really honest
with you I did not even know who showoffyourwheels.com was but I liked
what George said to me and here it is.
My Big Red 1963 British Army Personnel Carrier
My tank was nothing but scrap metal when I found her rusting in
Western Australia almost 4 years ago, So what started off as a joke quite
soon became a reality for me as I fell in love with her and restored
my carrier to the absolute mint condition that she now is. The whole
tank is fully functional and the entire top was all hand made and it
has a full operational scorpion turret.
She has cost me about $70,000 to restore her and she uses about
3 litres per kilometre but is the best fun any one could have and at
17 tonnes with a LCD TV, Sound system, Mini bar and armoured platting
this monster machine is a real boys toy!!
