I may be female, but give me a HSV V8 any day!
Firstly, the beast has had a nice sports exhaust system fitted. Extractors
are coming next. :o) It has the FE II suspension and has been lowered.
I'm not sure how much it has been lowered, but every time I reverse out
of a drive way, I just about pull my front spoiler off! :o) It also has
the widest tyres I could fit. 265's on the back and 245's on the front.
Low profile Goodyear Eager's no doubt. Nothing but the best!
It has a Calais 10 CD stacker in the boot with nice big speakers fitted.
Duff Duff. The rear tail lights have been wired up so that when you turn
them on at night, the whole back of the car lights up. Not just to the brake
lights, but to the parkers too.
It has an auto transmission, but I don't think this is a handicap. Whilst
all the V8's I've encountered are busy changing gear, my car is getting another
car length in front!! It has a chip and a later model intake manifold. The
turtle cover ....as I call it... has been taken off. A friend said it gives
me an extra kilowatt or two without the cover, but I reckon it just runs
a bit cooler without it. Besides, we can play TMNT with the cover. :o)
The clubsport badge on the rear boot has been taken off, and replaced with
a Blue chevy badge. Looks cooler in my opinion. Of course there is one for
the front too.
The side badges have been replaced with.....5.7 High Output V8. It doesn't
really make the car go any faster, but they look the part.
It doesn't have the huge brakes, but it has drilled rotors. It stops very well,
and sounds like cicadas. Sheepskin seat covers for winter, and no seat covers
in summer. Other than that, its pretty much the way I bought it. FAST!
Cheers Jo-Rae-Me.
