This is my latest project. a 1993 TD42 Nissan Patrol diesel.
It is a 5 speed manual with LSD rear diff. Basically all I have done to
the vehicle is removed all of the interior from front to back and sprayed
fish oil through it, replaced the rear shock absorber rubbers with a tough
rubber compound,installed a cb radio compliments of the web master, installed
front spot lights, rewired the rear brake lights and lastly fitted a roof
basket. The vehicle has recently also had a recon gearbox fitted since
an unfortunate gear change leaving me with no second gear. In general the
vehicle has been very reliable and smooth and has never given me any major
grief considering it's age.Here is a couple of videos of my baby in action.
The venue is at white rock in the heathcote area a popular destination
for trail bikers and 4wd fanatics just after a serious rainy season as
you can probably tell from all the mud.
