Hi. I am writing this page to give some details about my current toy. For those who have no sense of a quality vehicle it is a 1983 model XE falcon sedan. This particular vehicle is the last of the big v8's. Thats the 351 cleveland engine. When I purchased the vehicle it was a pissy little 6 cylinder 4.1 litre running on petrol.The list of mofdifcations are as follows:
*Converted the vehicle to 4 speed manual when it was a
six cylinder
*Dropped in a 302 cleveland with a c4 transmittion
*When the 302 blew up it was replaced with a second hand 351 cleveland
*Converted the vehicle to run on straight gas
*The transmition was replaced with an FMX when the c4 blew up
*When that cleveland blew up replaced it with a reconditioned 351 cleveland
with a mild GT cam
*Then I fitted ESP front headlamps
*I fitted a ford nine inch diff with 3.5:1 ratios with a reco center
when the borg warner said get f@#ked
*Fitted custom dual exhast system with 2 into 1 extractors
*Converted the vehicle to manual five seed with a T5 gearbox and dellow
bellhousing
*When the T5 blew up replaced it with a Top loader 4 speed box
*The top loader was removed and a FMX fitted again and standard nine
inch with 2.75 ratio's
The last conversion done was to improve the vehicle drivability on the freeway as I was doing quite a bit of driving to goulburn and back every weekend.
