Nick's ZH Fairlane Convertible

This toy was mine some time ago as you can tell by the aged look of the photos. Its a 1978 ZH fairlane, It had a 302 cleveland , c4 auto transmision and borg warner diff. It also had an original factory option wind back which is part of the chop top story. Turns out this vehicle was never really popular and I had allot of trouble selling it so I at about three months before the rego ran out chopped off the roof and sold it and drove it till it ran out of rego. The funny bit is it sold after I removed the roof. LOL

Great car and reliable but thirsty like a cleveland is and always was. Never had the money to keep it going. Used up all my second year apprentice wages just on fuel each week. This vehicle did however inspire my love of cleveland's and fords as well. Luckily the next cleveland I owned was powered by LPG allowing me to afford to run it on a daily basis. Oh well live and learn guys.
