The 1939 Chev Club held it's annual Hotrod streetcar and motorcycle spectacular on the 18 February 2009 too raise funds for the well known and very worthy charity Camp Quality. Camp quality for those who are not aware helps sick kids spend some quality time with their families in their hour of need. The fund raising event was a glowing success generating a great amount for the worthy charity. Australian' s are a charitable bunch and we proved it once again today.

Well behaved patrons and a friendly atmosphere was present with all the exhibitors being more than happy to chat about their vehicles. Plenty of ideas were exchanged between like minded enthusiasts today.

Entertainment was provided for by a live band. The catering was provided for by our generous sponsor Harry's Cafe De Wheels ( Peter Scunia ). All who visited enjoyed the traditional pie with potato and gravy and much much more. For those who don't already know Harry's has been synonymous with enthusiasts for many years. Now you can visit a local venue at Liverpool Mega Center with plenty of parking to get your pie fix and hang out sorted.

From mild to wild, street and strip to wild customs here was something to see for all who visited this extraordinary event on the Australian calendar. Though the event was overshadowed with the Victorian Fire Tragedy all were still eager to help out however they could. We send out our heart felt condolences to all those who have lost someone in Australia's dark hour.
