The Canley Car Show was held at the Canley Heights R.S.L. And Sporting Club on the 17'th of June 2007. This event is held annually for a charity that cares for disabled Children and Grown ups. A voluntary gold coin donation is collected upon entry and was well worth it.
There is a vast collection of vehicles on display which you can get up close and personal with. Some from an era forgone and others which we almost forgot. An emphasis on artwork was expressed by a few of the air brushed paintings. One of a Dragon on the side of a VW beetle was most popular.
Personal favorites on the event day were the Jim Beam Girls, (Thanks for the pictures), the stretch Hot Rod Wedding Car which resembled something from the Munster's (in a great original way) and the ford mustangs on display. Go the fords.
The FX - FJ Holden club was also there with the member cars on display and in general the event was fun for the whole family. A great way to spend a Sunday.
