The Shannon's Car classic was held on the 27/8/2006 at Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway. The event showcased a wide collection of cars, motorcycles and clubs or all makes and models to see from a forgone era. I was amazed at the diversity of vehicles here. So much to see and do it was scary.

The personal favorites of the day were the Messeschmit three wheel car and the Fiat Abarth 1000. They both were unusual and interesting cars to look at on the day. The day also featured a track cruise display where the owners of these vehicles had a chance to cruise their magnificent machines on the famous eastern creek raceway. Cant help but feel a sense of enthusiasm by being at this renown racetrack.

The Car Clubs at the event were welcoming and a chat was welcomed by the owners of the vehicles. It is always good to see there are groups of people getting together with one thing in common. I particularly enjoyed this event and look forward to covering it again next year.
