How do you sum up an event which comes once a year with loads of cars
on display, celebrity announcers and rare parts to buy ?
The word necessity comes to mind. It was no wonder this event was a smashing
success with loads of classic cars to see and parts to buy.
Crowd pleaser pinky was even there to spice up the event with professional commentary. He is a gentlemen in every sense of the word and we were thrilled to make his acquaintance. For those who don't already know, Pinky is a world famous motoring event announcer who attends all the major events on the motoring calendar. If he is there you can guarantee the event will be a smash.
On the day we were treated to a world class muscle car display from both ends of the enthusiast's spectrum, from GT Falcons to V8 Powered Torana's. Also the swap meet was a fantastic way to source those impossible to find parts which all vintage vehicle restorers have trouble finding.
The chef of the day which made a mean sausage sandwich was overworked though still managed to cook up a storm.
Very well organised event, adding to next year's calendar guys !
