The Canley Car Show of 2008 was held in it's usual place again at the Canley Heights RSL car park. The event is held annually for charity and raises funds for the Spastic centre. Gold coin donations are accepted by officials making the event a worthy cause.
On the show day we were treated once again to a nice bunch of people who were friendly and outgoing. Our event organiser Frank Tedesko was there again busy as ever. Old fashioned country music filled the air with a nostalgic feel while we walked though the vast collection of yesteryear's classic cars.
Personal favourites of the day was the classic ford with the manican legs hanging under the chassis and also the FE Holden coupe's wild body modifications and running gear retrofit.
The day made for an interesting weekend giving the community a chance to mingle with like minded enthusiasts.
See you guys again next year.
All the best for 2008 !
