Well the 24/2/08 will be engraved in our memories
for a very long time for two reasons.
1. We left Sydney at 9am and to our amazement once we jumped
on the M5 we only stopped at 3 red lights until we got there!!
2. The fantastic display
of Vintage, Unique, Modified, American and Australian muscle cars on display.
In the week leading up to the event, a
storm hammered up
and down the Central Coast threatening another canceled event
and by the opening day (Sunday) there were patches of hope and what turned
out to be a beautiful bright sunny day.
We really did not know what to expect
but our fans requested we cover the show and one of our car clubs (The
Central Coast All Ford Club Association) requested
we come and cover the event so how could we say No. On arrival we were
warmly greeted by the organizers and were amazed at the massive line up
off cars and car clubs and the huge crowd on hand. Granted celebrations
for central coast's most powerful car show was pretty spectacular
and great fun.
So many proud owners had there cars on display with banners
and information and brilliant set ups for all to see, the event was very
well organized and there were prizes and auctions for the massive crowd.
One of the prized items was a signed shirt from Door slammer Legend Victor
Bray ( See our 1 on 1 interview with the superstar himself on our web site).
We hope you enjoyed our event coverage and look forward to next year's
event.
