The Corvette Club Of Australia was proud to organise their Show And Shine event of 2008 showcasing some 50+ cars from their club. A spectacular collection of sexy corvettes were present and truly were a credit to their owners.
That was not the only attraction of the day. We were also entertained by Australia's one and own Mix 106.5 fm who were kind enough to shout the show goers a snag or two. Thanks for the feed. Also for the budding soccer fans there was a chance to meet a soccer super star Tony Popervich.
For the really keen kids there was also a chance to win a new Sony Playstaion with controllers and games. Many children had a go but most enjoyed the opportunity to get up close and personal with the idol. Today was a day truly for all people of all age groups.
For those with the need for speed no-one could go past Mitchell Sammut's corvette Stingray drag car. Boasting an engine capable of propelling the car down the quarter mile at 8.22 seconds and under with a top speed of around 166MPH ! SCARY comes to mind !
