The best way we can describe Motor Ex is to say that here at Showoffyourwheels.com it is Still the elite show for Hot rods, Street machines, Custom motorcycles and High tech tuners at a indoor venue and they were all there to wet your appetite. Motor Ex is a huge gathering of the best vehicles in Australia, In it's eighth year running The vehicles chosen to take part this year were selected on the basis of their performance at other shows during the year. Entrants come from all over Australia to be involved.
It was great to see so many car clubs that are part of the Showoffyourwheels car club community there on the day showcasing some of there finest vehicles for all to see and a big welcome to all the other car clubs that joined us on the day. This event was held over the weekend of Saturday 5th July and Sunday 6th July and incorporated a competition, Meguiar's Superstars, open to 27 entries competing for different categories of show car awards.
It's said many times throughout our event write ups, but we must single out the vehicle owners for the efforts in the quality of display. It keeps our media team honest, as the paint work on these vehicles was simply brilliant and proving hard to photograph/film without appearing in the reflections.
The team from Showoffyourwheels would like to express a very big thank you to Sandy Ellison from Motor Ex for her support and it will not be forgotten and you will see our commitment in a bigger light in next years event, We were there very early on Saturday morning and the crowds were pouring into the venue and an order of congratulations has got to Motor Ex management for its preparation. It was a real shame that we could not catch up with our good friends (Fat Pizza Boys) this year as we had other commitments on Sunday, See below our funny video with the guys from last years Motor Ex event.
