The Old Car Social Club held its Annual Show and shine event again this
year in 2008. We were blessed with more than double the entrants this year
raising an awesome amount of money. Once again the event was held to raise
funds for Diabetic Awareness which is a worthy cause.
This year there were an exceptional collection of vehicles. From Austin to Zepher. Everybody was eager to chat and show off their rides. Polish, elbow grease and tonnes of money had been spent by owners to bring forward an exceptional display of motor vehicles.
Personal favourite of the day must go out to an absolutely exceptional car. A restored Morris. The proud owner spent huge amounts of time and money to bring it back to its former glory. The vehicle is now in absolute factory condition and is a testament to his efforts.
Special thanks to the old car social club, Frank Tedesko our first Sponsor and to the event announcer of the day for allowing us a chance to address the crowd and let them know who we were.
