The Sydney Motorcycle show of 2008 is synonymous with enthusiasts as the place to go when looking for a new motorcycle. Much like the motor show it encompasses many different makes and models, some unheard of by most and other well established makes and models. As usual staff were helpful, welcoming and friendly. Visiting this event sometimes you cant help but wonder just how many people make the pilgrimage from their rural towns to see such a collection of motorcycles. Goes to show just how passionate people are about their " iron horses ".
A special thanks must go out to the event organizers for allowing us our media passes once again to cover this event. Many thanks to Toby, Diane and all others involved in this monumental yearly event.
Personal favorites of the day were the new retro Vespa scooters that are available. Their popularity are definitely a hit amongst the crowds, the new Suzuki Boulevard c90 boasting a 1500 cc V-twin liquid cooled engine in a cruiser format and the still impressive and value for money Suzuki c50 and M50 Boulevards who's price and features come second to none if you were looking for a cruiser.
If cruisers weren't your thing there was always a vast collection of sports and endro bikes to look at and drool over as the many manufacturers have provided. In all a great day with something for everyone. Please enjoy the footage and tell your friends about us !
