No-body can tell for sure where the rivalry between Ford and Holden started
from. The best probable bet is that it developed over a long period of
time from the humble beginnings of Bathurst when Holden competed against
Ford in that great race. Whatever the reason it is now an ongoing rivalry
which we find very interesting to follow.
In a classic fashion these competitors pushed the boundaries of convention giving us a sensational show which was enjoyed by all. A few mishaps were evident on the day, otherwise a trouble free fun event to attend.
There were also Door Slammers and supercharged outlaws for our enjoyment.
In all a well catered for event with loads to see and do. As usual everything we would expect from a top notch facility like WSID.
